What changes on Medium?
Medium starts with about 18 filled triangles. You will still find nearly complete groups, but more answers come from checking a hexagon and its crossing lines together.
If the shape still feels confusing, play a few more puzzles on Easy Snowflake Sudoku first. The rules and controls are exactly the same.
A Medium solving plan
-
Scan the six hexagons
Fill any hexagon with just one missing digit.
-
Scan lines at one angle
Work through one family of parallel lines before turning your attention to the next angle.
-
Add notes
When two answers are possible, jot them down and keep scanning. A later placement will remove one.
-
Repeat
Every correct digit changes one hexagon and three lines, so always recheck those groups.
When Medium feels comfortable, move on to Hard Snowflake Sudoku.
