Built with love for grandkids

About Sudoku for Kids

Sudoku for Kids started as one grandparent's idea: build a place where my grandkids could enjoy logic puzzles as much as I do, without the frustration that often comes from adult-level puzzle sites.

I am a one-man band running this project, and every board is designed with young players in mind. The aim is simple: make puzzle-solving feel fun, encouraging, and just challenging enough to help confidence grow.

Why this site exists

The best learning happens when kids are curious and relaxed. Sudoku can build focus, pattern recognition, and problem-solving skills, but only if the difficulty matches the player.

That is why this site is built around stepping stones. A child can begin with small wins, then move up gradually as their logic skills improve.

Start small and welcoming

The first goal was clear: create a puzzle space that felt friendly on day one. Big touch targets, clear numbers, and no account wall.

Match real skill levels

Kids do not all learn at the same pace. That is why there are 4x4 and 6x6 boards before classic 9x9, plus multiple challenge levels.

Keep improving

This is a one-man project, but it keeps growing. New puzzle ideas, layout tweaks, and quality fixes are all driven by how families use it.

What I promise

  • Keep games free and simple to start.
  • Design puzzles that young players can actually enjoy, not bounce off.
  • Build each mode to support steady growth from beginner to confident solver.
  • Listen to families and improve the site based on real feedback.

Thank you for visiting

If your family is playing these puzzles, thank you. It means a lot. Every visit helps this small project continue, and every message helps shape what comes next.
